Howdy! 🖖🏻

I’m Christopher. I’m a queer educator, writer, starship communications officer, and fountain pen aficionado. I live in Chicago, at the intersection of time blindness and trying to do absolutely everything all at once–of writing like I’m running out of time and scribbling in the margins of my life, wedging words where they’ll fit.

I’ve been writing fiction since I could hold a pen–though if you ask my partner, he’d tell you I still don’t know how to hold one properly. I love and write in too many genres to limit myself to one, but I’ve been working mostly in the genre of science fiction for the last few years. My primary focus in fiction, as in life, is to increase varied and accurate representation of queer people and queer stories beyond coming out.

I study queer representation in media, mostly literature, film, and television.
